Volume matters not only in physics, but also in politics. If you have volume, the material world will lean in your favour.
Seventy-eight farmers were brutally gunned down by Boko Haram in Nigeria on December 5, 2020, but hardly anyone anywhere paid attention to the gravity of the crime. But farmers elsewhere in their thousands blocked roads in India and disrupted life, and when the Indian Police sprayed water on them, it became an issue for governments around the world to speak about. The pressure for these governments and the Indian government was from the thousands and ten thousands that supported the farmers' agitation.
Volume matters. It matters as much in politics as it does in material reality.
